STEPS TO MAKE FOR AN ADOPTION OF A DOG

PRE-SELECTION
You can choose a dog by visiting our web-site. If there is one you particularly like, you can send us an e-mail to: grancanariapets@gmail.com If you do not find what you are looking for on this web-site, let us know. We will notify you when we have an animal available with the desired characteristics.

ADOPTION CONTRACT
The person who wants to adopt a dog will sign a personal and non-transferable contract, which promises to take good care of the animal. Under-age people are not allowed to sign an adoption contract. Neither will be given dogs to third parties or as a gift. The dog must live in family and may not be alone or tied up on a farm or on a roof-terrace. In case you can not continue maintain the dog you have to return it to Gran Canaria Pets. The dog will be visit at any moment by the inspectors of Gran Canaria Pets.

DOG HEALTH STATUS
The dog will be delivered with:
- card or passport
- internal and external de-wormed
- 4 DX Heart-worm test done
- all the vaccinations up to date (rabies, parvovirus, canine parainfluenza, canine hepatitis, canine respiratory adenovirus, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus.)
- microchip registered in ZOOCAN in name of the adoptive. - castrated/sterilized (when adult)

PAYMENT OF EXPENSES
The adopter will pay the veterinary expenses at the time of signing the contract 210/230 € (male / female) for adoption, including castration and all veterinary expenses (castration/sterilization is an indispensable requirement).
